Spinning: Lovefool - The Cardigans
Had a 5 day holiday from Saturday to Wednesday thanks to the National Day holiday. How did I make use of it? Play away, of course! It was the last long holiday I had before I would be forced to hit the books again for the stupid Promos.
Monday (8 Aug) was a special day - not, of course, a happy occasion, but nonetheless well remembered by every member of my family. 3 years - makes you wonder how you spent all that time. You begin to cherish the people around you more. And it makes you smarter in a sense. You see the true colours of people close to you. The words they spoke - did they mean it? Perhaps this whole episode contributed to my cynical nature. This makes me sound like some brooding, pessimistic boring old nut. So I'll stop here:- though the real reason why I'm being so vague is because not everyone knows about the whole damned episode and I don't intend for it to be so.
Went out with my squadmates on National Day itself. We trooped over to Huiru's home for a Pizza feast coupled with baked chicken from Carrefour. We were peeling off the strips of chicken meat using our hands -_-. Bought 10 bottles of soft drinks and ended up being unable to finish everything heh. The fun part though was all the card games we played while crammed into Huiru's room. We played stupid games like Pig!. Sabo-ed the dirdee ones, and for some reason I was on a roll and didn't lose once. Played Bridge and Spades... but those proved too troublesome for our brains and we decided to play the idiot proof 'Pig!' for the rest of the day. Guys on the other hand were playing Mahjong as usual... did some stupid things like pulling a prank on Guan Guan... Switching off the toilet lights while she was doing god knows what in there... and ran all the way to the top floor to hide. Hehehe. It's so childish - not something I would do in the presence of just anyone... but in front of these sqdmates of mine I've got minimal reservations about doing stupid things. It really makes you wonder - when can I do such stupid things again? I'm just ITCHING to do it. But I can only wait until I'm in the company of those peeps.
I'm getting pissed at how shallow people can be. Everytime I encounter such people I get vexed. I want to stretch out my hand and slap them and ask them, how can you look at things on the surface? How could you even bring yourself to be so superficial? Beautiful on the outside, pure trash on the inside. I wish I could incinerate them.
I'm going to bring this post to an abrupt end. Because I don't know what to say further.
