Spinning: Muse - Supermassive Black Hole
I've never been this happy in a long time. No, seriously. It even beats the time when I was still happily bumming around at home.
I guess I can attribute it to the most amazing weekend I have had in a while. The 35ers, or should I say, about half of them unleashed their madness upon Central Singapore today. Probably terrified the fellow patrons in TCC and Swenson's today. AND the staff. The staff at TCC were politely accommodating, but I've got no praise for the staff at the latter venue. Let's just keep it at that.
You'd ask me why a simple day out could cheer me up so much - I'll tell you why in pictures. (1st 3 from Ivan; the rest from Zhu and Mab. The grainy effect, by the way, is done intentionally by Ivan 'cos, quoth Ivan himself, "GONE ARE THE DAYS OF PERFECT PICTURES (cause handphones pictures arent perfect anyway to start with) cause GRAINY IS THE NEW COOL." So we listened to him.)
Mabel wanted a stupid face. I gave her one:

But obviously, her 'stupid' wasn't stupid enough. I decided to trick her instead (hoping that Ivan would somehow play along), hence the normal, sedate face:

Then all hell broke loose and who cared about looking normal? Afraid that Mabel would look pseudo-stupid, I made sure she looked genuinely stupid by pulling her eyes wider:

Perfecto. 3 idiots monkeying around.
Sister brought her poker cards and we put it to good use, as usual:

Sister vomited:

No actually, I made that mess. I knocked over a drink, eliciting some screams from us. And then for a moment, the restaurant sounded deathly quiet. Oops. Haven't been this careless in a long time.
To be continued, because Zhu is holding on to the better quality pictures.

HAHAH! Yes, I really you today, and I really really enjoyed today -- just nuaing at TCC and catching up. So cathartic simply to slow down our lives for a while and place our responsibilities somewhere else. We must definitely keep doing this once in a while.
