It's like...
Like how we don't understand someone and the feeling is mutual and we try our best to keep out of each other's way.
Like how a person can turn as frosty as ice after finding his own wings.
Like how you realize a person is not what you think he is at first sight and that fine line between love and hate is crossed. And then you marvel at how fine a line it really was.
Like how rebellion manifests itself in a frighteningly different way.
Like how you experience immense solitude despite there being people around you. Right next to you. In front of you.
Like how you invest so much emotion in a friendship only to be disappointed in the end.
All these and more in a span of three months.
Enough. I need the holidays now for a much needed retreat overseas.
