I thought something went wrong with my blog, and I thought it had been relegated to the depths of cyberspace hell (or heaven) indefinitely. If you'd tried to access my blog previously, you would've ended up on an error page. I couldn't even edit it previously. But just when I was about to start a new one, I FOUND IT! Sitting prettily on my dashboard. Oh yes, the joy of recovering all my posts... I'd like to think I'm not overdependent on technology, but who am I kidding?
And so now I'm starting afresh, and am back with a new template! I scrapped the evil genius one not because it wasn't nice; rather I wanted something different from the conventional 2 column layout blog. So now, to navigate (if you haven't already done so), stop hesitating and pull that damn tag! For miscellaneous information including links, the origins of the blog title, and a wonky description about myself, just scroll all the way down.
Regarding the title of the blog - Frabjous - it isn't some gibberish I made up; though technically speaking it IS part of the nonsensical neologism coined by Lewis Carroll (yes, the author of Alice in Wonderland) in his poem, "Jabberwocky". Its fun and nonsensical, and since almost all the English words in the dictionary are taken up by others, I've got no choice but to use this as my new URL. By the way, http://frabjous.blogspot.com/ is an old Harry Potter fan site who didn't delete their blog after 3 years of absence. This explains the hyphen in my URL, in case you were wondering.
I'll leave you with the poem "Jabberwocky". Great fun.
Jabberwocky
Lewis Carroll, 1872
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"
He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.
And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!
One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.
