I'm gonna recommend an amazing gadget on the web to the bored people out there who have nothing better to do on the net.
Go to
pianographique.net and tinker around with the different options there - it's pretty darn creative and it makes you feel like you're some veteran at creating some of those oddly creative (i.e. bizarre, disjointed, but coming all together very nicely) ads we see on television. The best way to manipulate it is to press random keys on the keyboard to a certain rhythm (according to the sound played), and simultaneously move the cursor around to ensure the graphics don't just confine themselves to one spot.
My Faves:Under "Sound System": "Little Chicken"(Rock), "Compulsion"(Jazz), and "Sudden Stories"(Musical Drama)
Under "Continuum": "Black Potion" - enjoyable!
Under "PianoParole": "FatouHanaLucien" - I think this would be part of the answer to why there shouldn't be only ONE language in the world. It'd be sad, wouldn't it?
See, I told you I was bored. But whatever; this is pretty fun actually. On another note, I've received my first piece of spam - in response to the "I've had a shitty day" post - how unsympathetic...
