Spinning: The Cardigans - Erase and Rewind
Am I considered old-fashioned if I still like music from the 90s? As if I'll care if I'm considered outdated - the 90's music is too good to shun.
Give your dusty CDs a chance; dig 'em out and try spinning them. I guarantee nostalgia and a sense of familiarity hitting you all at once.
Its not that music in the now is no good, it's just that I grew up listening to music from the 90's, so I'm probably more familiar with them. The Cardigans, Lene Marlin, No Doubt (that was Gwen Stefani's band when she was still in a group), etc etc. Not forgetting Oasis, Blur and Suede. It might be strange that I was listening to those Brit bands whilst I was 7 or 8, but you have to understand that I had a teenage brother who was blasting their songs at full volume at home all the time. Somehow I managed to be influenced.
I just wanted to share that I was having a 90's revival of sorts.
